Le single Ich will est sorti le 10 Septembre 2001. C'est le troisième single tiré de l'album Mutter, et on comprend tout à fait le choix de la maison de disque. Ich will est en effet l'un des plus grands succès de Rammstein.

Au niveau de l'artwork, on retrouve une pochette en continuité avec les précédents singles tiré de Mutter, c'est à dire qu'on y voir un membre du groupe, ici Till, en train de crier la bouche grande ouverte et avec un fond verdâtre.

Au niveau du contenu audio, le single est vraiment intéressant. On retrouve, hormis deux remix moyens, la présence de deux chansons live, Ich will bien sûr mais aussi Pet Semetary, jouée en duo avec Clawfinger en hommage aux Ramones. Et, pour encore augmenter la qualité du single, le clip d'Ich will se retrouve sur le single.

Au final ce single est l'un des plus intéressants de l'ère Mutter, car il comporte son lot de nouveautées. De plus, la chanson Ich Will se dote d'un très bon clip.
