Hi there, good awesome news! Watched some horror movies during Easter holidays and just made a pretty funny and amazing discovery! Flake took samples out of the famous horror film cl

Is the shakuhachi flute from Wilder Wein (Loon Garden) also used in Bett in Flammen?

Kinda, the one in Zero-G is almost identical to the Loon Garden one, but in the Loon Garden instrument, the sample has a different attack than the one on Zero-G, the one on Zero-G has a slower attack than the one from Loon Garden, and the flute in Bringer/WIDBIFS has the same attack as the one in Zero-G.

Isn'it the same Babbln Brook sample from LOON GARDEN? Also used in Wilder Wein?

Babbln brook and Loon Garden are different things. In this case: BABBLN BROOK is used for 5/4, and LOON-GARDEN is used for Wilder Wein. LOON-GARDEN has a water sample, but it isn't the same as BABBLN BROOK.

I think on some CD (was is it Wall of Sounds or an EMU release)? Babblin Brook was part of a Loon Garden multisample. I think that's the one Flake used... Belgian Ensoniq Assiciation is a bit too obscure

Nope, trust me that it's this one. This same disc has the TOONS 2 instrument. Also, this same exact BABBLN BROOK instrument/sample is in Flake's EPS-16 Plus. In Mutter, Flake didn't use E-MU samplers. Wall of Sounds LOON GARDEN has a water sample but it isn't the same as this one.

Edit: Belgian Ensoniq Association wasn't that obscure in Europe.

Do you have more info on this disc?

I think I got it from a false-titled copy called "Sonic Images Ensoniq" were TOONS and BABBLN BROOK are from

Babblin Brook is also on this EMU CD

Yeah yeah, I know that, but like, the samples are not the same, just the name. I mean, not even the name is 1:1, because in the BEA booklet, they wrote Babbelin Brook. I am sure it's from BEA, Flake had BABBLN BROOK of it on his EPS-16.

à l'écoute de American Girls de Harry Styles, une piste synthé m'a fait penser à celles de Flake sur beaucoup de morceaux. Voilà. Bonne journée. Je m'en vais.

The instrument called "FRED KRUGER" is the knife sample used in Mein Teil single version from Belgian Ensoniq Association CD-01

Maybe Flake sampled from another TV show.

The marching from Links 2 3 4 can be heard in the N24 war documentary:

Apokalypse Erster Weltkrieg - Episode 01: Pulverfass Europa (23:34) and (28:42)

Or the documentary used the sample library 🤔 Who knows?

Edit: Yelling crowd from Links 2 3 4? 28:36

Can't be from that documentary in specific, according to IMDb, it first aired in 2021, but the march sample sounds close.
