To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Sehnsucht album, a remastered anniversary edition will be released on June 9, 2023. The new artwork was designed by Dirk Rudolph, its original creator.
"Sehnsucht Anniversary Edition" will be available in CD, double LP black, double LP white (exclusively on RammsteinShop), Mini-Cassette, and digital formats. Each format will include, in addition to the usual tracklist, a new 2023-mix of Spiel mit mir.
The CD comes in a Blu-Ray-sized 8-panel digipack. The double LP (black or white) comes in a triple gatefold. These 3 formats will be accompanied by a 40-page booklet featuring previously unpublished photos by Gottfried Helnwein, who shot promotional photos for Sehnsucht at the time.
Pre-orders are already open on the RammsteinShop. For all pre-orders until May 7th, the RammsteinShop allows you to have an exclusive "Sehnsucht" postcard sent to the address of your choice, worldwide.
A new 7-inch vinyl version of the single Du hast will also be released, including the new mix of Spiel mit mir. The single is currently only available on RecordShopX.com.
