Today we’re celebrating the 25th anniversary of Rammstein’s third album: Mutter!
Considered by many to be the band’s most accomplished opus, it gave us gems like Sonne and Ich will, which have been performed at every concert ever since.
Did you know that it was recorded in southeastern France, at Miraval Studio in Correns?
We recently promoted the coverband Stahlzeit, who performed in concert this Sunday at La Seine Musicale, near Paris.
The Rammstein World team attended the show, and we never could have imagined such an impact. After what we saw, heard, and felt, it’s hard to pretend nothing happened. The energy, the precision, the stage presence… it was all there. And even more. While we expected just a cover band, we discovered something different. Something superior? Yes, let’s say it.
This is therefore a well-considered decision: starting tomorrow, the Rammstein World website and associated social media channels will be entirely dedicated to Stahlzeit. They will be renamed “Stahlzeit World”.
See you soon for 100% Stahlzeit content!

Update :
It was of course an April fool's joke, Rammstein World remains Rammstein World ;)
From time to time, a treasure resurfaces. Such is the case with this proshot of the concert given in Worcester on 23 September 1998! The concert, which was part of the American ‘Family Values’ tour, was partially filmed for a report broadcast on MTV.
The recording has just been made public on YouTube, 27 years later! It includes three complete songs and two excerpts, all in excellent quality.
This is an opportunity for us to remind you that you can find a history of all Rammstein concerts on our website, with information, the setlist (if known) and sometimes photos or videos for each one. A search engine even allows you to enter criteria to find a concert. A feature only available on Rammstein World!
This year, all Rammstein fans will receive an extra gift: on 25 December at 5 p.m. (CET), the Pinkpop Archive YouTube channel will stream the band's full Pinkpop 2016 concert!
Visit our concert page to find out more about the setlist and watch the three songs that have already been released.
Please note that this will be the very first time that a proshot of the song Zerstören has been made public. The 2016/2017 versions of Seemann and Stripped have not yet been released either.
‘100 Gedichte’, Till Lindemann's third poetry collection, is published in French for the first time! ‘100 poèmes’ also includes a preface by translator Emma Wolff, as well as the original German texts, which will be of interest to non-French readers, given that the German publisher ended its collaboration with Till in June 2023.
Christoph Schneider was at the "UK Drum Show" in Liverpool yesterday afternoon. He played 11 Rammstein songs on the main stage (see set list below), then answered a few questions from the audience.
When asked, When will it start again? (referring to Rammstein), Christoph replied, I don't have an answer to that question. He said he plays the drums for at least half an hour every day.
When asked about the song Ramm-4, he replied: Oh that song! There's a studio recording, we recorded it long time ago. And we never found a place on a record where it fits, but it's still there and one day, it will get out.
Stahlzeit will be performing at La Seine Musicale, near Paris, on Saturday, 28 March 2026!
This is the perfect opportunity to see one of the best Rammstein tribute shows around. We highly recommend it, as the quality of their show is truly impressive. The staging, the pyrotechnics: everything is reminiscent of Rammstein's indoor concerts back in the day! Not to mention the top-notch setlists with songs that the real band doesn't play or no longer plays.
On 14 November 2025, Rammstein will release a box set entitled ‘XXXIII Collector's Vinyl Box’: a complete anthology of the 33 singles officially released since 1995, presented in chronological order, each with its original cover and B-sides, on 7-inch vinyl.
This collection comes in a deep-black wooden box featuring an inlaid metal logo – strictly limited to 6,000 copies worldwide.
Last May, mixing began for the band's upcoming live album, filmed in Mexico City in October 2022.
An Instagram post by sound engineer Svante Forsback, who mastered Rammstein's seventh album, now confirms that the mixing is complete! He wrote Mix done! and posed with Florian Ammon and Olsen Involtini, who mixed the band's last two albums.
Rammstein has not yet announced a release date, but it should be coming soon!
20 years already! For us, the Rammstein World team, who weren't even in our twenties at the time, it makes us feel really old...
It was a concert that left a lasting impression on us, as it did on so many French fans who had discovered Rammstein a few years earlier.
Everything came together for a spectacular show: the sublime setting of the arena, splendid weather (the heat was responsible for many people feeling unwell in the pit), a magnificent tour and stage design. And above all, an exceptional audience, witnesses to a bygone era when people experienced concerts to the fullest, without smartphones. Rammstein got it right and immortalised the moment on film. Not to mention the opening act by DJ Torghull, who, much to the chagrin of some purists, played his support role perfectly.
Ah, I hear they call that nostalgia... Sehnsucht in German!
